Eligiblity
Clients must have an active Aeroplan account and their name must appear on the Agreement of Purchase and Sale to be eligible for the Aeroplan Miles. Note that only one Aeroplan Member can be rewarded with Aeroplan Miles for a real estate transaction. If there are two names on the Agreement of Purchase and Sale and both parties are Aeroplan Members your clients must decide which one will be rewarded the Aeroplan Miles.
What qualifies as an eligible transaction?
An eligible transaction for Client Rewards is a residential real estate (primary, secondary, recreational or investment) property located in Canada, being bought or sold by an eligible client. A property is not an eligible transaction where it is the subject of a government relocation (where the purchase or sale is part of the Integrated Relocation Program, Department of Defence or other government departments) or a corporate relocation program.
What my clients receive?
After an eligible real estate transaction closes, your client receives 500 Aeroplan Miles for every $10,000 in final transaction price* purchased and/or sold. For example, if a client sells their home for $300,000, they receive 15,000 Aeroplan Miles for using your services
What if you are not an Aeroplan Member?
To help your clients reap the rewards of Aeroplan Miles, they must first be an Aeroplan Member, which is quick, easy to do and free of charge. Simply refer them to www.aeroplan.com and they can join immediately. New members receive their Aeroplan number automatically. They will need to provide this number, along with their first and last names, to be rewarded with Aeroplan Miles for their real estate transaction with you.
